My brother Dave Gray and his bulldozer arrived this weekend. All of a sudden things started happening on the Orchard Expansion!
The dozer was active for only about seven hours this weekend, but that’s all it took for Dave Gray to push out all the stumps, clean out an area below the orchard, and contour the orchard to cut down on erosion. Also: the remains of the expansion in the form of firewood and mulch, the planting ahead, the steps that remain, and the separate work that Amanda is keeping up on Veg Hill.
