Call this our mea culpa episode, one in which we apologize for our failure to keep good records even while acknowledging the importance of doing so. We’re speaking here of the location of underground utility lines, the vegetables planted on Veg Hill, the trees growing in the orchard, and soon now, the money we’re spending off the farm. It makes life so much simpler when we have good records on which we can rely. Why, then, don’t we do a better job of it?
