Podcast #221 – Report on Southern SAWG

Freshly back from the conference of the Southern Sustainable Agriculture Working Group, we share our impressions in today’s program.

We continue to be blown away at the sheer size of this annual event, attracting 1,000 or so organic and sustainable farmers from across the southeast to mingle, exchange ideas, and recharge their batteries. Listen – 22:18

One of the events we enjoyed was a field trip to a permaculture farm in Citronelle where we saw these squash growing in January in a hoop house heated passively by the sun.
