It’s rare for us to have a podcast on the very day of Christmas. Here’s hoping it’s a wonderful holiday for you, as it is for us. We are freshly returned from a week in California visiting with our son Joe and his family. The visit was delightful, but we both are struggling with illness in the wake of the journey. In fairness, neither of us can blame the trip; Amanda was already ailing before we left, and chances are I caught my cold from her rather than from anyone we encountered while traveling. Our illness means we both have weak voices, so we have kept today’s program short.
